Internal air and ferry services survey reminder
Residents of Orkney’s isles communities are being reminded to take part in the survey of the county’s internal ferry services which closes on September 3.
Results from the survey will feed into ongoing work to analyse the current ferry provision and the mix of air and ferry services for the isles.
The survey is open to residents from the outer north isles, south isles and inner isles. Respondees go into a prize draw for a £100 voucher for a local retailer of their choice.
Vice Chair of the Council’s Development and Infrastructure Committee and North Isles Councillor, Graham Sinclair, said: “Survey results will help shape the future development of internal air and ferry services. I’d urge isle’s residents to ensure they have taken part.”
Surveys can be completed online at www.orkney.gov.uk (direct link ).
Paper copies are available on board the Orkney Ferries vessels Earl Thorfinn, Earl Sigurd, and Varagen, and at the Loganair inter-island check-in desk at Kirkwall airport.
